The animals survive in the worst of conditions, some even captured when they were free, torn from their family which is often exterminated before their eyes.
The training is violent
One must submit, by fear, violence, hunger; all methods obtain the desired result! The big cats come to fear the whip more than fire, the elephants that dread more the sting of the spikes than the pain of the ridiculous postures that one forces them to adopt ... when they don’t go crazy; they commit suicide like the dolphins, or like the orcas that kill their trainers.
A daily life of violence and deprivation
During performances, they also experience the thunderous sound of music and applause. Then return to their sad world of incarceration. Confined to trailers from town to town, in the cold or extreme heat, or confined to concrete pools, where there is nothing to do, nowhere to protect themselves, neither form the sun or from aggressive congeners.
Stop animals in these shows!
For One Voice, this modern slavery has lasted far too long. We are fighting to have all these animals kept in sanctuaries where all their needs will be met. For this, we fight on all fronts. If public disaffection for this type of entertainment is essential, it is also crucial to lodge complaints whenever a proven case of abuse is brought to light and to convince public authorities to change the rules.
Together, we can free these animal victims from circuses and dolphinariums!
